PRIVACY NETWORKS ROLLS
OUT NEW E-MAIL SECURITY, MANAGEMENT OFFERINGS FOR COMPLIANCE
AND E-DISCOVERY
Newest release offers SMBs and MSPs affordable enterprise
functionality that accelerates productivity and speeds the
archiving and retrieval of e-mail
FORT COLLINS, Colo., Nov. 27, 2006 . Privacy Networks, the
e-mail integrity company, today announced the latest release
of its award-winning E-mail Integrity Suite (EIS). The latest
version of Privacy Networks. EIS includes major new functionality
that improves archiving and advanced search of e-mail, end-user
productivity and overall e-mail security to enable timely
and cost-effective e-discovery processes for litigation, regulatory
compliance and better business practices.
"Having delivered a fully integrated suite of e-mail integrity
products that simplifies and lowers the cost for government,
education and SMB customers, we now have added new capabilities
that make it even easier and more practical to manage all
aspects of e-mail management,. said Steve Berens, president
and CEO of Privacy Networks. .Previously, only large enterprises
could afford the sophisticated e-mail management tools available
in the market. Now, SMBs can realize the same benefits at
a very affordable cost through a single, integrated platform
that tears down the disparate silos of using and managing
different point solutions."
Compliance rules and regulations, together with the growing
need to quickly, easily and cost-effectively store and retrieve
e-mail for business requirements, are realities facing organizations
. both large and small. Corporate e-mail has become the preferred
business communications medium, yet many organizations don.t
have the IT resources or easy and affordable ways to quickly
retrieve critical communications in a secure, timely fashion.
Unlike high-cost point products or cobbled together solutions,
Privacy Network.s fully integrated suite of tools are designed
exclusively to manage all aspects of corporate e-mail security
and management requirements for traditional software solutions
and managed service offerings. The company.s solutions address
the growing need for IT tools that include easily searchable
e-mail indexing and archiving, encryption and integrated spam
and anti-virus functionality.
The latest enhancements to EIS include:
PrivacyImport: Archive Creation from Backed-Up E-mail
PrivacyImport can restore millions of backed-up, dormant e-mail
automatically into a secure and searchable archived database,
eliminating what has typically been a very tedious, manual
and costly process. In addition, new users also benefit from
PrivacyImport because it allows them to instantly create a
searchable archive from their backed-up e-mail on the fly.
It quickly and accurately provides the electronic records,
such as specific e-mails and corresponding attachments, for
legal and compliance requirements, as well as corporate e-discovery.
PrivacyPost: Microsoft Outlook Toolbar Plug-In
With the latest edition of EIS, customers now have an integrated
toolbar that incorporates Privacy Networks. PrivacyPost anti-spam
tool directly into the desktop e-mail client (Microsoft Outlook),
increasing overall productivity. The new capability allows
users to launch EIS directly from their toolbar to more efficiently
manage and delete any spam in their in-box with a single click
of a button. In addition, new capabilities within PrivacyPost
allow it to .learn. user preferences, so if spam is received
and deleted, it trains the system to quarantine any future
similar messages. This .one-click. spam eliminator experience
is the most advanced integration capability available in the
industry.
PrivacyVault: Advanced Search Capability
Privacy Networks. e-mail indexing and archiving module, PrivacyVault,
now contains new advanced searching capabilities allowing
end-users to specify search conditions for electronic discovery.
With the new advanced search capability, users can search
and retrieve e-mail much faster and with more accurate results.
PrivacyPost: Attachment Quarantine
The latest edition of PrivacyPost allows companies to quarantine
emails with large attachments prior to storing them on an
e-mail server. This is particularly helpful for very large
non-business related files, such as videos or graphics. These
large files, if not quarantined, will have to be stored in
the e-mail archive for the length of the retention period.
Companies wishing to reduce e-mail archiving storage requirements
typically institute policies against personal use of e-mail.
PrivacyPost will automatically quarantine those messages before
they are archived. Administrators have an intuitive Web-based
console to select what types of attachments need to be quarantined.
Pricing and Availability
The latest version of Privacy Networks. EIS suite is available
for immediate delivery as standalone software starting at
under $5,000, or as a hosted service based on the number of
users.
