ITX SELECTS PRIVACY NETWORKS
FOR SECURE E-MAIL AND ARCHIVING SOLUTIONS
Agreement helps ITX better address growing need for managing
Electronically Stored Information (ESI), gives Privacy Networks
foray into government market
FORT COLLINS, Colo., Oct. 16, 2006 - Privacy Networks, the
e-mail integrity company, today announced that Information
Technology Experts, Inc. (ITX) will resell Privacy Networks'
integrated suite of e-mail management offerings, including
its popular PrivacyVault e-mail archiving and search technology.
ITX is one of the fastest growing IT providers in the Rocky
Mountain Region - with an annual average growth rate of 31
percent.
After a stringent 65-day evaluation, ITX selected Privacy
Networks to add e-mail content management as well as to displace
MX Logic's anti-spam point solution. "We strive to offer our
customers the best technology while simplifying their IT management,"
explained Bruce Hottman, executive vice president at ITX.
"Privacy Networks not only met these goals, but was much simpler
and easier to use. With compliance and e-discovery becoming
a major requirement, it's important that we help customers
quickly and easily set up, manage and maintain a bullet-proof
e-mail compliance solution."
"For Privacy Networks, partnering with ITX not only adds another
customer success story, it also opens the large and important
government market as well as continued commercial opportunities,"
explained Steven Berens, president and CEO of Privacy Networks.
"ITX's decision to offer a complete e-mail integrity solution
to its customers highlights the growing need to consolidate
e-mail compliance and content management with a single e-mail
security platform that is simple to manage."
PrivacyVault began shipping in June 2006 and is quickly becoming
the e-mail archiving solution of choice for Managed Service
Providers, small- to mid-sized businesses, and government/education
organizations. It is ideal for organizations looking for an
affordable, easy-to-manage system that complements existing
e-mail security and management systems that fully meets increasing
compliance requirements like Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, and GLBA.
PrivacyVault rapidly retrieves e-mail, saving valuable time
and resources that would be spent blindly searching for critical
information requested. It centralizes the storage of e-mail
from disparate sources, allowing customers to quickly access
communications and locate specific attachments. In this natural
progression in information management, it is particularly
important since e-mail has now surpassed file servers as the
repository for the greatest quantity of corporate information.
